The Twig set out in fine form
ready to wrestle boards into position helped along by his band of merry men…
The
Twiglets.
After a stop at the Showground to replenish supplies he headed to Honiton as the Twiglets ventured off to 'sunny' Tiverton.
An hour or two
later the Twiglets had lost their crisp appeal and after a somewhat sodden
afternoon returned home to dry off in front of a roaring fire.
Meanwhile, the
intrepid Twig carried on regardless of wind and rain: “These boards must go up,
for how will the good people of Devon know about the county’s top entertainment
attraction (kids go free on the Saturday)?
"Verily, I say unto you, be at the Show
and make the brave effort of those born to board-raising duty worthwhile.
Once more into the breach dear friends…oh look, a pub! Bye.”
